Laine vierge non teinte filée à la main, deux brins, épaisse, à peine tournée. Elle est encore grasse et on y trouve de la paille et des poils plus foncés.

Mon patron, débutant avec une bordure en dents de chat (pas encore attachée), puis un rang d'oeillets et des côtes 3 / 1 pour une bonne tenue. La jambe est courte (environ 4 pouces ou 10 cm total). Le modèle de talon à rangs raccourcis est tiré d'une charte publiée dans KnitSimple, le magazine de Vogue Knitting, édition janvier-février 2007.

Here is my second knitted socks, size XS adult or L kids.

Hand spun pure 2 ply chunky wool. Still greasy from the original lanoline, with a little bit of straw and darker hair.

We bought it at Tissage Hamel. Great bargain. We will dye it soon

My design begins with a picot edge (not sewn yet), then a row of "holes" (yo) then 3 / 1 ribs for the leg to be tight and stay up. The leg is short (4 inches or 10 cm). The heel is shaped with a short row method inspired by a chart published in KnitSimple, jan/feb 2007 edition.
